This is where I ramble on endlessly about nothing in particular, just to have something to fill up this space.
The cat had to go to the vet recently because he had blocked ANAL GLANDS. These anal glands in cats are a (literal) pain in the ass. Why do they exist? What is the damn point? Just so they can get blocked up and require a trip to the emergency vet in the middle of the night because we're not sure what the hell is wrong with the kitty, who is whining and looking miserable? We thought he had something really awful wrong with him. But it was just ANAL GLANDS. I mean, I'm glad it's not something worse, but my gosh—ANAL GLANDS.
We love our kitties, but they are such money pits. But we love them. What can you do? You love your kitties, you pay the vet bills.

This is my first (horrendous) venture into CSS layers, done with DreamweaverMX 2004. I am following the instructions in this book. You'd think by now that I would have learned CSS, but I kept on putting it off. So far I'm having fun learning this new stuff.
The weird scroll boxes below show you the different things that can be done with Dreamweaver MX 2004. I am not the most "sophisticated" web designer, and never will be. Tables have been fine for me for the last several years. And as I said on the main page, there are a lot of good reasons to prefer tables—older computers running old browsers can display tables, but may have problems with CSS and "layers." And since a lot of my site visitors use older computers (and I want my sites to be as accessable to as many website visitors as possible), tables are good for me.
But these "layer" styles are FUN! And not hard to learn once you get through the basics. I highly recommend the DreamweaverMX 2004: The Missing Manual book—it's been really helpful to me in learning how to do this. (Not that it's that hard, it's not—but I am rather stuck in a rut with my tables so Cascading Style Sheets are a whole new concept for me.)
